GeForce GTX 295 – and destroying a Radeon?

Group prepares to NVidia aimed against the dual-core graphics cards ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 with the new accelerator, known under the name of the GeForce GTX 260 GX2. As reported Expreview.com service, a new competitor is officially called the Radeon GeForce GTX 295 and will be based on two chips GT 200, manufactured in 55 nm process technology. 
NVidia has lost its dominance in the market for graphics accelerators for most players with the premiere of the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 company Advanced Micro Devices. Giant market for graphics cards, however, does not intend to submit without a fight and most likely in January we can expect to store shelves on a new, high GeForce’a. GeForce GTX 295 is built from two systems GT 200 (marked G200-103-B2), also known as GT 200B, which are manufactured in 55 nm process technology and, in comparison with an earlier chip version, have a greater number of stream processors. The new GT 200 is the 216, while the older version of the system produced in 65 nm was their 192. They are, however, only changes in the construction of the system. NVidia has not added any new features, so the GeForce GTX 295 in line will be “only” with the DirectX 10 libraries, and the chips ATI Radeon HD 4XX0 Series libraries support refreshed version, numbered 10.1.

As reported Expreview.com website design work on the new nVidia cards have already been completed. Accelerator GeForce GTX 295 will be built on two sheets and the PCB together with the coolant systems will be addressed in a housing probably four PCI slots. Cores will communicate with the use of SLI technology. Information on the frequency and timing of memory cores are not known. It is however expected that this will be more than in the case of GTX 260, also constructed on the basis of a refreshed GT chip 200B.
